Here is a fun little Saturday project I did for my son, who we call Bug. He has been learning how to tell time for quite a while, I guess there is a strong interest in timepieces in this house. The hardest part is he can’t count to 60 so minutes are a little boggling. This hand is designed so that the black hand goes with the black numbers and the blue hand goes with the blue numbers. The alternating triangles are supposed to help him grasp that even if the hand is pointing almost to the nine it is still 8 - whatever until it crosses over into the next triangle.
