Michael I'm curious as to why if you received the CW21 certificate the reason they would not give you a parts account. Did they specify any further?

Interesting. Except for the fact there is no CW21 anywhere else in the world. Wostep Certificates are the premier certification in the world. CW21 in my opinion was a dying effort by AWCI for survival. In addition, Rolex (which paid for my education in a large part)continues to deny me and my brothers and sisters in American watchmaking the right to purchase parts. Using a parts account as a lever to make me get a CW21. If Ford refused to sell my local mechanic parts, I would never purchase another Ford again. What makes Rolex special in this regard?

I don't know how many CW21s there are, probably way less than 100 but it is a new certification.

Is the CW21 certification very rare among watchmakers? My watchmaker claims there are only a hand full of CW21 watchmakers in the US.
